These terms apply when you buy from Republics Of Earth (republicsofearth.com), run by BoomTime4 Pty Ltd (ABN 37 138 206 112), Sydney, Australia. By placing an order you agree to them. They sit alongside our Shipping, Returns & refunds and Privacy pages.
What you’re buying
A heavyweight cotton t-shirt (Gildan 5000), printed to order with the name of the place you type. Declaring a republic is a joke. The shirt doesn’t make you a citizen of anywhere, and no government recognises it, though we admire the ambition.
The preview shows how your shirt will look. Colours on screen can differ slightly from the printed shirt.
What you can put on a shirt
We check every order by hand before it’s printed. We can refuse, and fully refund, any order whose text:
- is hateful, threatening or obscene;
- makes fun of a private person by name, or could defame anyone;
- uses someone else’s trade mark or brand in a way they could object to.
By ordering, you confirm that you have the right to use the text you entered.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency where we can, converted from Australian dollars. You pay the price shown at checkout, in that currency. Your bank may charge its own conversion or overseas fees. Shipping is free. Prices include GST where it applies. Import duties and taxes are on us.
Payment is taken when you place your order. If we have to refuse or cancel it, you get a full refund.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates; see Shipping. The shirt is our responsibility until it reaches you.
Your rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and these terms don’t limit them, or any rights your own country’s consumer laws give you. Beyond those rights, our total liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it.
The designs
The layout, star, stamp, declarations and the rest of the site are ours. The shirt you buy is yours to wear, photograph and share as much as you like. Please do; that’s how republics spread.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. If you’re a consumer in another country, you keep any protections its laws give you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you ordered applies to your order.
