Every shirt is printed for one person, with the name of your republic, so we can’t resell it. That changes how returns work, but it doesn’t take away your rights.
If something’s wrong with your shirt
If your shirt arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted, or not what you ordered (wrong colour, wrong size, or a name that doesn’t match what you typed), we’ll fix it. Email orders@republicsofearth.com with your order number and a photo. You don’t need to send the shirt back unless we ask.
For a serious problem (for example, the print peeling after a normal wash), you choose a replacement or a full refund. For a minor problem, we’ll reprint it or refund you.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If you’re outside Australia, you also have the rights your local consumer laws give you. Nothing on this page takes those rights away.
Changing your mind
Because each shirt is made to order with your words on it, we don’t offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind. That includes picking a size that doesn’t fit. Please check the size guide on the product page before you order; the shirts are true to size.
Wrong size? We’ll reprint your republic in another size for half the price, plus postage. Email us within 30 days of delivery.
Typos
We print the name exactly as you typed it, as shown in the preview. If you spot a typo after ordering, email us straight away. We can fix it free of charge until the order goes to print. After that, the reprint is on you, unless the mistake was ours.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel for a full refund at any time before your order goes to print. We check every order by hand first, usually within one business day of ordering. Email orders@republicsofearth.com as soon as you can. Once it’s printing, we can’t cancel it.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, in the currency you paid in. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Lost parcels
See Shipping. If it doesn’t turn up, we’ll send another or refund you.
