Draft 2 of 7 · after Runnymede, 1215
The Great Charter of Fairfield
Fairfield, by the grace of nobody in particular, to all its people, greeting.
Know that we have granted, for us and our heirs forever, that the people of Fairfield shall have and hold all their liberties, whole and unimpaired. No free resident shall be seized, or fined, or made to attend a strata meeting, except by the lawful judgment of their peers. And the corner shop shall keep its ancient hours.
